At-home insemination, made simple

The Béa treatment guides you through every step with our 4th-generation, FDA-cleared applicator — easy to use, comfortable, and supported by experts from day one.

Learn what to expect

An easy, supportive step by step designed to walk you through Béa’s fertility treatment at home.

Step 1:Identify your fertile window

Use your preferred method, such as LH strips, an app, or physical symptoms, to spot the ovulation “peak.” This signals that it’s time to begin your Béa treatment.

Step 2:Prepare the sample and load the applicator

Collect a fresh semen sample in the sterile cup included in your kit. After letting it sit for 30 minutes to liquefy, use the orange funnel to pour the sample into the applicator. This fills the folded cervical cap inside and gets everything ready for insemination.

Step 3:Insert the Applicator

Once the sample is ready, remove the orange funnel and gently insert the applicator. Turn the handle to release the cap to place it over the cervix, then remove the applicator leaving the cap behind in place.

Step 4:Let the cervical cap work

Leave the cap in place for 3–5 hours while it does its job. The cap’s string will stay outside the body for easy removal later. You can relax during this time, everything is working on its own.

Step 5:Remove and repeat the next day

Gently pull the string to remove the cap. For the best chance of success, repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 about 24 hours later.

Disclaimers
  1. Based on a postcoital test of another cervical-cap device vs intercourse: 11/13 (85%) showed higher cervical-mucus sperm scores; among responders, average 3.23× (Pelekanos, 2015). Not Béa; no syringe comparison. PCT scores are semi-quantitative and don’t predict pregnancy. Results vary.

Meet the Béa Applicator
Precision-engineered through 4 years of R&D to bring a clinical insemination method home

The cornerstone of the Béa Treatment is our Béa Applicator, an FDA-cleared Class II medical device (the highest safety classification for at-home insemination). Rigorously tested through 1,000s of tests and proven across 3,500 treatment cycles.

Better than a syringe

The cervical cap method has been shown to have a significantly higher pregnancy rate per cycle. 15.2% compared with 5.9% for syringe-based methods3.

7-inch stem length

All bodies are different, and the Béa Applicator is made for different bodies, designed to help place the cervical cap at the cervix across a wide range of anatomies. With smooth sides and a rounded edge, the Béa Applicator is designed to be safe and comfortable to use5.

Designed to protect sperm

The applicator delivers semen directly to the cervix in a protective cap, shielding sperm from the harsh vaginal environment and creating a 3.23x higher sperm concentration where it matters most2.

Keeps sperm where it counts

The cervical cap containing semen wraps around the cervix (demonstrated here using an egg), holding semen in the optimal place in the body, eliminating backflow and maximizing contact time with cervical mucus6.

Disclaimers
  2. Refers to one randomised cross-over study of donor intracervical insemination cycles comparing cervical-cap insemination (15.2% pregnancies per cycle (Flierman et al., 2017); 38/250 cycles) with straw/syringe intracervical insemination (5.9%; 14/236 cycles). The Béa device was not used in this study. Pregnancy rate is per-cycle, not live-birth, and individual results vary. Outcomes vary with age, diagnosis, and semen parameters.
  3. Refers to delivering semen to a cervical cap at the cervix, which may limit exposure to vaginal fluids. Evidence shows some vaginal conditions (incl. pH/bacteria) can affect sperm motility. The device does not sterilise the vagina, kill bacteria, alter the microbiome, prevent STIs, or act as contraception. Results vary.
  4. Safe when used as directed. Materials in contact with the body have passed biocompatibility testing (cytotoxicity, sensitisation, and vaginal irritation). Comfort and experience vary by individual. If you feel pain, irritation, or unexpected bleeding, stop and contact a clinician. See Instructions for Use for warnings and who should not use the product.
  5. Refers to semen delivery to a cervical cap placed at the cervix, which may limit sperm exposure to vaginal fluids. Evidence cited relates to laboratory and observational findings that certain vaginal conditions/bacteria and lower pH can impair sperm motility. The device does not sterilise the vagina, kill bacteria, alter the vaginal microbiome, prevent sexually transmitted infections, or act as contraception. Individual results vary.
