Béa Treatment
Disclaimers
  1. The Béa Treatment is up to 90% more affordable than IUI' and the disclaimer is: IUI costs about $1,363 per cycle—≈$4,100 for three cycles (Manfredi et al., 2023). Actual costs vary by age, health, and clinic.
  2. Based on a postcoital test of another cervical-cap device vs intercourse: 11/13 (85%) showed higher cervical-mucus sperm scores; among responders, average 3.23× (Pelekanos, 2015). Not Béa; no syringe comparison. PCT scores are semi-quantitative and don’t predict pregnancy. Results vary.

How it works

A modern, intuitive fertility treatment designed to guide you through clinical-grade care from home.

Step 1:Identify your fertile window

Use your preferred method, such as LH strips, an app, or physical symptoms, to spot the ovulation “peak.” This signals that it’s time to begin your Béa treatment.

Step 2:Prepare the sample and load the applicator

Collect a fresh semen sample in the sterile cup included in your kit. After letting it sit for 30 minutes to liquefy, use the orange funnel to pour the sample into the applicator. This fills the folded cervical cap inside and gets everything ready for insemination.

Step 3:Insert the Applicator

Once the sample is ready, remove the orange funnel and gently insert the applicator. Turn the handle to release the cap to place it over the cervix, then remove the applicator leaving the cap behind in place.

Step 4:Let the cervical cap work

Leave the cap in place for 3–5 hours while it does its job. The cap’s string will stay outside the body for easy removal later. You can relax during this time, everything is working on its own.

Step 5:Remove and repeat the next day

Gently pull the string to remove the cap. For the best chance of success, repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 about 24 hours later.

Why it works

3.23x

More sperm3 delivered to the cervix, compared to sex. Learn more

The cervical cap holds semen close to the cervix — shown here using an egg — helping sperm reach your egg more easily.

Disclaimers
  1. Around $135 per cycle reflects the median list price of three widely available US at-home insemination kits as of Aug 2025: Mosie Baby Kit, PherDal Kit, and Frida Fertility At-Home Insemination Set. Assumes one kit per ovulation window. Prices exclude shipping/taxes and donor sperm; retailers may discount.
  2. IUI costs about $1,363 per cycle—≈$4,100 for three cycles (Manfredi et al., 2023). Actual costs vary by age, health, and clinic.
  3. ~17–18% is a modelled three-cycle pregnancy rate based on a 5.9% per-cycle pregnancy rate for intracervical insemination by straw/syringe reported in a randomised cross-over donor ICI study (Flierman et al., 2017). This is not a head-to-head study of current at-home kits. “Pregnancy rate” refers to reported pregnancies, not live-birth. Individual results vary.
  4. 39% pregnancy rate among 56 Béa users who completed up to three treatment cycles and reported outcomes between June–Dec 2023. Internal observational data; no control group. Results vary and are not guaranteed. “Pregnancy rate” refers to reported pregnancies during/after treatment; it is not a live-birth rate.
  5. IUI success rates (31% over 3 cycles) from a limited New Zealand study with ovarian stimulation; actual results vary by age, diagnosis, sperm quality, and other factors (Farhi et al., 2017, PubMed 29174128). Béa’s internal report and the IUI study are from different sources and populations; interpret separately, not as a direct comparison.

We’ve got answers.

Where is the Béa Treatment available?

The Béa Fertility Treatment is currently only available in New York state. We're actively working on expanding to new locations soon. If you aren’t in NY state please take our assessment to let us know where you are located for future consideration.

How does Béa work?

The Béa Applicator is simple and intuitive to use. It places a soft cervical cap full of semen directly onto your cervix using a comfortable applicator. The cap protects semen from the vaginal environment and concentrates sperm in the cervical mucus, increasing the number that reach the uterus for conception.

Is the Béa Treatment HSA/FSA eligible?

Yes! Absolutely. All our products and services are eligible for HSA/FSA. Select Flex Pay with HSA/FSA during checkout.

Is the Béa Treatment as effective as Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)?

Over 50 years of peer-reviewed research shows cervical-cap insemination has comparable efficacy to IUI. Our own clinical study with 56 women actually outperformed IUI rates in similar patient populations. The efficacy for the Béa Treatment over 3 cycles in an infertile patient population is 39.28%. The efficacy of IUI varies depending on the data source, but is generally accepted to be no higher than 31% over 3 cycles. See disclaimer above.

How do I know if Béa is right for me?

Béa is designed for anyone who wants to take an active, supported step toward pregnancy — without invasive procedures or surprising costs. If you’re on your fertility journey or looking for a clinically guided, at-home treatment that fits around your life, Béa could be right for you.
